Calendar

Each entry level class has a trainer and an assistant to help you achieve your goal of a well trained dog. No more than two classes at a time are running. Our school offers a wide variety of programs to help pave your way to a well trained family member and/or a competition dog.

Level I Obedience

This 6-week class is for dogs 5 months or older and covers basic control, leadership techniques, and exercises. We will be covering sit, down, stay, reliable recalls, soft leash heeling, manners (jumping on people, barking, etc) and behavioral issues.

Semi-Private Level I Obedience

This 6-week class is limited to 6-7 students and your dog comes on the first night. All Level 1 exercises will be taught during this class. The trainer is owner, Deb Schneider. This class will include one on one time with Deb, and personal help with behavioral issues as well.

Level II Obedience

School Calendar

This 6-week class is the next step of training after Level I with additional challenges. This course includes formal heeling, longer stays, out of sight recalls, canine good citizen exercises and obedience games.

Advanced Obedience

This 6-week class is a perfect way to complete the finishing touches to a well trained dog. We will cover hand signals, off leash work, distant commands, jump work, and fetch.

Canine Good Citizen

School Calendar

Every dog should earn his Canine Good Citizen title!

This is a 4-week class and students must have completed Level I and II prior to joining. This class covers all ten exercises of the CGG. Week 4 is the evaluation. This is a new title with AKC, so dogs who are registered with AKC will be able to add the letters CGC after their name. This is also a great partner class to have if you are also going into therapy (not required however).
